It wasn’t my fault!  The cry of all those humans who “CHOSE”
not to stand but to follow the idiots.  The problem is that they followed, became a mob, and then found themselves saying “How did that happen”?  They found their friends, cohorts, and those they respect and wish respect from later in their lives look at them with derision for their cowardice and “Not Standing Up”.

Before WWII in Germany many civilians had these kinds of thoughts.  There has been research done over the decades asking the citizenry that survived why they made the choices they did.  While some truly believed what they were told, most just wanted to be happy and enjoy life as long as they didn’t have to know that someone else had to pay a price for their happiness.  They got to blame the consequences for their choices and the choices of their previous and current political leaders on others because it “couldn’t possibly be any of their faults”.

Everyone wants everything for nothing.  People, humans would much rather “be happy” and not have to put any work into making that happen.  It’s true of most people if they take a deep look at their actions and decisions.

Take a stand.  Make a choice and stand by it, and take the consequences for that choice and your actions.    When history looks back and judges you for your choices I hope that those who knew or know you can stand to be in the same world or even the same room with you.
